The Natchitoches Humane Society is thrilled to announce three new board members that will help the abandoned animals of Natchitoches Parish.

These ladies are already working in an accelerated capacity with new programs, fundraisers and physical care for animals at Happy TAILS and in foster homes.

Carol Brian has had a home in Natchitoches for over 25 years and is an active volunteer with the NHS. She is a licensed mental health therapist who specializes in animal- assisted therapy for all ages She brings an abundance of experience and knowledge to the board.

Suzie Thomerson Lee moved to Natchitoches from North Dakota. She and her husband Chris began volunteering immediately. Suzie’s background is in banking but her love and compassion for animal welfare has shown through in many projects.

Becky Junot moved to Natchitoches from New Orleans. She began volunteering at the City of Natchitoches Animal Shelter and it is still a priority in her volunteer work today as it is for many NHS members. Becky’s vibrant smile and energy are just a few of the talents she brings to the NHS.

Please thank these wonderfully talented volunteers when you see them.
